Obscured Pictures is a full-service publicity, marketing and sales firm specializing in domestic and international features, animated works, short films and episodic series. Founded by RJ Millard, the company represents entertainment companies and non-profit organizations and all forms of filmed entertainment throughout pre-production and shooting, festival planning and launch campaigns, theatrical and non-theatrical releases, North American film sales, special events and awards campaigns.
Obscured’s executive team includes Kory Mello, Katherine Matthews, Amanda Valley and Brit Fallon. Our team has represented a wide range of clients since the company was founded in 2013.
Film and television clients range from traditional theatrical distributors like A24, Focus Features, Sony Pictures Classics, Magnolia Pictures, MGM Studios, MUBI, Greenwich Entertainment and Roadside Attractions; streaming and cable companies Amazon Studios, AppleTV+, HBO, Hulu, Netflix and Showtime; to production and sales companies like FilmNation Entertainment, WME, CAA, UTA, Cornerstone Films, Charades, Sony Music Entertainment, 3311 Productions, Systemic Exchange and YETI.
